House prices in Northern Ireland rise for 14th month

Further growth in Northern Ireland’s housing market is expected after July became the 14th month of rising prices, according to new survey.

In the latest research by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and Ulster Bank, 38% of surveyors and estate agents also reported a rise in sales.

Those surveyed said they expected the trend to continue, with expectations for sales and prices stronger than any other UK region. RICS Northern Ireland spokesman Samuel Dickey welcomed the rising confidence in the market.
